CarePlus CPR is an important and useful member of the MEDIC FIRST AID® Family of Programs. CarePlus CPR provides a course to replace CPR-only classes. The CarePlus CPR program is a tool for community training in CPR with the added benefit of other Essential Skills of Patient Care. Infant, child, and adult skills are presented where they are applicable. This course is available to anyone in your community.

MEDIC First Aid CarePlus CPR and AED Course Topics

♦ Sudden Cardiac Arrest - Respiratory and Circulation System, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Eary Defibrillation, Chain of Survival, Chain of Survival for Children

♦ CPR and AED Provider: CPR and AED Provider, Legal Considerations, Recognizing an Emergency and Deciding to Help, Personal Safety, Disease Transmission and Universal Precautions, Removing Contaminated Gloves, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

♦ Basic CPR Skills - Primary Assessments, Compressions and Breaths

♦ Basic Life Support Care: Unresponsive and Breathing, Reovery Position, Unresponsive and Not Breathing - Adult, Child, and Infant, Automated External Defibrillators (AED)

♦ Foreign Body Airway Obstruction - Adult, Child, and Infant Choking

♦ Additional Considerations: Emotional Considerations

♦ Optional Topics: Control of Bleeding, Internal Bleeding, Shock, Stroke, Pain, Severe Pressure or Discomfort in Chest

Before the course date students must:

2. Once registered you will receive an e-mail within a few days for the online portion of the course.
3. Complete the online portion of the course before your class date.
4. Attend one of the practical application classes.

Price Includes: Online course, student materials, practical session, and eCard. 

Class Location: Medway, MA or I can travel to your facility. $20 travel fee may apply.

Age Requirement: There is no minimum age requirement. However, regardless of age, students must reasonably perform the required skills to receive a certification card.

MASS Diving Cancellation/Postponement Policy: In the event of a class cancellation by MASS Diving, the student can reschedule or receive a full refund on the instructional portion of the course. If a student cancels, they may reschedule their class or cancel and receive a refund with a 10% service fee.
